Grandma
Brandon, Yvonne and Ellie came here for Christmas. They had an adventure getting here when the Lubbock Airport closed due to blowing snow. They were stranded in Houston for 8 hours and then were routed to Midland, Tx. They spent the night in Midland and then drove to Lubbock, where we met them and then drove to the ranch. Aaron and Jack came after Christmas. Jessica had to stay home with a sick Luke. Everyone missed seeing them.

Of course I took tons of picutes. Here are a few of the pictures I took when everyone was here.

More 4-wheeling

Can you tell it was cold?! I could not believe anyone wanted to go 4-wheeling. Aaron, Brandon, Yvonne and Jack spent several hours exploring Dempseys shinnery oak patch.

One of the casualties of our remodeling was the master bath. The original idea was to take out the bathtub, enlarge the room and have a separate shower and a large soaker tub. We got as far as taking out the wall and tile around the tub/shower before we changed our minds. We then rebuilt the wall and put up a temporary tub surround.

I have just finished re-tiling the area. Here are the before, during and after pictures of the project.

Here is the tub area with the plastic tub surround.

We are down to the bare walls and ready to start tiling!

Done!

Up close of the detail!

Grandma
Brandon, Vonnie and Ellie made a trip to Weatherford last weekend. Brett and I went down to see them and Aaron, Jess, Jack and Luke. We sure had a good time seeing both our boys and their families! I took a bunch of pictures. Here is just a select few.

You can see who I thought was the important person in this picture! That is Ellie being held by her dad (Brandon, my youngest).

Grandma

Brandon sent me an Easter picture of Ellie. She is getting really big!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the end of April!
Grandma
Mom and Uncle Bud (her brother) are on a camping trip across the southwest. They are both either in or near their eighties. Uncle Bud left the San Fransisco area two weeks ago. He picked up mom in Las Vegas. They have visited family in Las Cruses and Roswell New Mexico on their way here. They arrived Saturday April 11. We then spent Sunday and Monday showing them the area and shopping in Spur. (Shopping in SPUR????!!!). Yes there is a cute shop in Spur that we all found something to enjoy about it.

Here are some pictures.

The dogs seem to get a long.

Grandma
Jack and Luke stayed with us several days during Jack's springbreak. We had a lot of fun playing at the playground in Spur and at Patton Springs, feeding cows, riding four wheelers, and playing around the house.

I think Jack is too big for the car!

They enjoy building towers and then knocking them down.

I was trying to get a picture of Luke's dirty face. Don't think the picture shows it though.

The boys enjoyed exploring the shinnery oak mott behind our house. They sure thought they were in the wild woods.
